Interview Process
The interview process consisted of three online assessments (OAs) followed by a Superday. Each OA had a generous time allowance of 30 days to complete.
After submitting my application, I received the first round online assessment the next day.
Technical Questions

First OA: Quick Calculation and Pattern Recognition
- Quick calculation: 80 questions in 8 minutes. Practicing only with Zetamac may not be sufficient. It may be more beneficial to practice with TraderMath, although Akuna’s questions included some with particularly large numbers not seen in TraderMath.
- Pattern recognition: Included arithmetic sequences, higher-order arithmetic, decomposed arithmetic, geometric sequences, fractional terms, and some unusual letter pattern questions. The last two or three questions were quite complex and difficult to decipher.

Second OA: Probability
- Duration: 12 minutes for 30 questions. Each question was straightforward, requiring simple calculations to determine probabilities. However, the questions focused on betting odds based on the calculated probabilities, asking how much to bet to win $1000. It is useful to memorize the results of 1000 divided by numbers less than 10 to speed up calculations.

Third OA: Market Making Scenario
- Duration: Approximately 45 minutes with around 24 questions. This assessment involved a market-making scenario related to letters simulating options bid-ask prices. It’s recommended to memorize the order of each letter (e.g., h is 8, o is 15, etc.). The assessment also tested trader memory, with some questions asking about the first letter from earlier questions.
Tips & Insights
- Practice with a variety of resources to cover different types of questions.
- Memorization of key numerical values can significantly enhance speed and efficiency during assessments.
