Interview Process
The interview consisted of 7 multiple-choice questions, each with a reading and answering time of 5 minutes. Candidates were required to have their cameras on and explain their answers.
Technical Questions
- Linear Algebra: Orthogonal matrix
- Calculus: Chain rule, given ( f(x) ), find ( f’(x) ); also included Newton’s method
- Probability: An ant starts at one vertex of a cube and randomly moves to one of three edges at each step. What is the expected number of edges it travels before reaching the vertex opposite its starting point?
- Brain Teaser: On an ( n \times n ) chessboard, infection spreads as follows: each square has 4 neighbors, and if at least 2 neighbors are infected, the square becomes infected. What is the minimum number of initially infected squares needed so that all squares can be infected?
