Interview Process

I had a phone screen with a team at DoorDash for a Data Scientist position. The interview lasted about 45 minutes. They started off with some standard behavioral questions, followed by a technical SQL problem. I made sure to explain my thought process as I was writing the query.

After that, we discussed the product framework I would use to analyze retention metrics. The interviewer was particularly interested in how I would set up an A/B test for a new feature. I talked about the importance of defining a clear hypothesis and metrics for success. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m looking forward to the next steps!
