Interview Process
- The interview consisted of a standardized written test, with individual papers for each candidate.
- There were 20 multiple-choice questions (four options each), scoring +2 for correct answers and -1 for incorrect answers.
- The test was conducted in a large hall with over 100 seats, where personal belongings were stored at the back.
- Each candidate received a sheet of scratch paper and a pencil.
- The version of the test was randomized (I received version 4).
- The content distribution was approximately half probability theory and half financial engineering, with about half of the probability section related to Brownian motion.
- The process included check-in, storing bags, random seating, distribution of test papers and pencils, and then starting the test.
- The total duration was 90 minutes, with proctors reminding candidates at the 30, 15, and 3-minute marks; a clock was visible at the back of the room.
- There was enough time to complete all 20 questions, and candidates on either side of me submitted their tests early.
