[Troubleshooting] Network error when clicking Start Interview + Mic not working

Hi,

I am facing a bug on your app and haven’t been able to use it when I click on Start Interview even after I have subscribed for your pro plan. I am looking for a refund for the same since I feel I have been cheated into your product. There is no 24/7 support or anything on the dashboard and the audio function doesn’t work at all.

I receive a network error when I click on Start Interview option and I’m unable to turn on the mic option since the app breaks down at this point. I have an interview on Wednesday and I need this app, hence I went ahead and made such a high expense. Please help me out with this bug.

Are you using an Intel chip Mac?

The Issue:

Apple has stopped support for Intel chips, and many software applications have been affected by this change. Interview Coder works best on:

  • Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2, M3, M4 chips)
  • Windows computers

Solutions:

  • If possible: Try using an Apple Silicon Mac or a Windows computer
  • Check your Mac’s chip: Click Apple menu → About This Mac → look for “Chip” (Apple Silicon) or “Processor” (Intel)
