I had a technical phone interview for a Quant Finance role at Two Sigma. The interview lasted for about 30 minutes and focused heavily on quantitative skills and problem-solving. I was asked a variety of questions, including:
- Describe your experience with probability and statistics.
- How do you approach solving a complex problem?
- Explain a time when you had to work with a large dataset. How did you handle it?
- Can you discuss a finance-related project that you worked on in the past?
The interviewer was very friendly but also challenged me with some tough questions. Overall, it was a good experience and I felt comfortable answering the questions, but I had to think critically about some of them.
