Interview Process
The interview was conducted by a pleasant Indian interviewer. The question was based on a problem related to autonomous vehicle parking. The candidate was asked to modify the problem to allow passage through a “house” and to determine the minimum value that could be a point within the house. There was a follow-up question regarding how to optimize the solution and to calculate the minimum or maximum values flexibly.
The candidate received a message the following morning indicating they had passed the interview. However, the bad news was that the position they initially applied for had already been filled, and they would need to find a new team and go through an additional hiring manager interview before being scheduled for an onsite interview.
